New Intern - Caterin Hermida Gutierrez, Sophomore at University of South Carolina Beaufort
Friday, January 22nd, 2021
Lighthouse Foundation is proud to announce a new affiliate partnership with the University of South Carolina Beaufort. Starting this year, we will be working virtually with college students as interns directly from the USCB campus. This is a great opportunity through Lighthouse Foundation to provide the ultimate experience of working together in the nonprofit world. College interns would receive a plethora of experience working on various programs including Lighthouse Development Institute. A signature program that helps students in high school figure out what type of career-path they would like to pursue.
Our first intern for this year is Caterin Hermida Gutierrez, who is a Sophomore at University of South Carolina Beaufort. Caterin's major is in Human Services and a minor in Sociology. Caterin is a native of South Carolina who is a first generation to attend college in her family. She is a positive person that love helping people achieve success no matter what the obstacles may be. We're so excited for this opportunity and for working together with USCB. Our many thanks go to Lighthouse Foundation Advisor Ms. Dawn Robinson, Human Services Internship Program Coordinator at University of South Carolina Beaufort Mr. John Leadem, and our CEO Mr. Ronovan Chaisson.
