Former LHFO Student Accepted To California Acting Studio.

Yasmine Chaisson (LHFO Graduate '2019) accepted to Exclusive California Summer Program



Yasmine Chaisson, oldest daughter of Ronovan Chaisson, audition for one of the biggest acting Summer program in the state of California. Out of 200 students from all over the United States, she received the official call on May 22nd to join the program.


This is an exclusive program where Yasmine will be working with various people in the entertainment business to learn even more about the acting world. At the end of the program, Yasmine will do a monologue with another high profile celebrity. If she does well, an agent will sign her to a contract and get her acting jobs all over the country.

Yasmine's Story


Yasmine Chaisson was diagnosed with Dyslexia in elementary school. At first she had a hard time adapting to reading and understanding sentences. But she persevered and kept working hard at her craft, acting and singing in many local shows including the Genie in Aladdin, Summer Arts Program with Texas Black Academy of Arts & Letters, and Summer acting program with Nia Kids. Yasmine will be graduating from Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas in the Spring 2023 with her Bachelors of Arts Degree. We're so proud of all her accomplishments and endeavors.
